Lyndon
Lyndon, is the county seat of Osage (OS) County, it is on US Highway 75 about 27 miles south of Topeka, in northeast Kansas. It is situated between two Federal Reservoirs; Pomona Lake, 5 miles north and Melvern Lake, 5 miles south.
The Lyndon City Council normally meets on the first and third Mondays of every month, 7:30 pm, in the City Hall basement. Contact the City Office if you would like to attend or be put on the agenda or require special accommodation.
Lyndon is governed by the Mayor/Council form of government. The Mayor serves a two-year term. Each council member serves a four-year term with staggered elections every two years.
